Office Diaries

 Hello All,

Another day another experience from my office diaries...

Today, I want to talk about someone in my team—a person who works incredibly fast, yet often seems impatient.

We’re a team of seven, and recently we onboarded a new member. She was assigned a few tasks and took to them with enthusiasm. Everything was going smoothly until she hit a snag during an installation. Guidance was provided, but the issue triggered a wave of impatience in her.

I gently told her, “Have patience.” And in that moment, I saw a reflection of myself—I was just like her when I started.

It made me realize: whether we mean to or not, we often grow impatient when things don’t go our way. But that’s exactly when we need to slow down and stay calm.

A few days later, she faced another challenge. This time, she handled it gracefully—with patience and poise. It was beautiful to witness that growth.

There are two Hindi sayings by poets that come to mind:

1. धीरे धीरे रे मना, धीरे सब कुछ होय।

   माली सींचे सौ घड़ा, ऋतु आये फल होय।

(Everything happens slowly, in its own time. Even if the gardener waters a hundred pots, the fruit will only come in its season.)

2. धैर्य का फल मीठा होता है।

(The fruit of patience is sweet.)

With that, I wrap up today’s blog.

Thanks for reading.

Until next time, keep growing and glowing
