Kitchen Whisper
In my previous blog, I shared a few reflections—those little moments we all encounter, whether we seek them or stumble upon them. Today, I’d like to take a detour from that flow and invite you into a different kind of journey: one that begins in my kitchen.
I call it Yummy Kitchen Talks. It may sound simple, but to me, it’s a space where flavors meet feelings, and every dish carries a story. I hope you enjoy these little slices of my life.
You might be wondering—why suddenly kitchen talks? Honestly, I don’t have a perfect answer. Maybe because food has a way of bringing back memories, and mine are ready to be served.
When I was a kid, I had this strong urge to make lemonade for every guest who visited our home during the summer. It wasn’t just about the drink—it was about the joy of offering something made with my own hands. That’s when my interest in kitchen activities quietly began.
As time passed, life got busy. I drifted away from cooking, caught up in studies and responsibilities. But when I moved to Bangalore and started working, something shifted—I found myself back in the kitchen, rediscovering the joy of creating meals.
Later, during an overseas assignment with a colleague, I got another chance to cook. It felt like a full-circle moment—me, in a new country, preparing food that reminded me of home. That experience made me realize something important.
The whole point of this blog is simple:Never be ashamed of cooking your own food and sharing it with others. There’s pride in preparing a meal, in nourishing yourself and those around you. It’s a quiet act of love, and it deserves to be celebrated.
Till then, this is your anonymous Nontechie—stirring stories and spices—signing off with a smallpoem from AI
From lemonade dreams in summer’s glow,
To distant lands where spices flow,
Each dish I make, each tale I tell,
Carries a warmth I know so well.
A pinch of hope, a dash of grace,
In every meal, I find my place.
Though paths may shift and time may fly,
My kitchen whispers, “Give it a try.”
